Audition Information
Judy Bossuat

Judy Weigert Bossuat teaches at California State University, Sacramento where
she is the master teacher on the Sring Project (www.csus.edu/stringproject). Her
contact with Dr. Suzuki began in 1974 and continued throughout the years after
her graduation from the Matshumoto Talent Education Institute in 1978. She is a
registered Suzuki Method Teacher Trainer for SAA and ESA, national secretary of
the American String Teachers Association, and on the board of the National
String Project Consortium. Bossuat offers lessons for children in both
Sacramento and Stockton, CA. She also offers teacher training on violin.
Workshops on weekends, holidays and during the summer months can be arranged.
David Evenchick

David Evenchick is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College
Conservatory of Music, the Victoria Conservatory, Western Illinois University
and the University of Iowa School of Music. Recently he was awarded the Anne T.
Cleary Fellowship for International Doctoral Research. His Suzuki training was
done principally under the guidance of Tanya Carey. He is in demand at workshops
and summer institutes across North America as a teacher and Suzuki Association
of the Americas approved teacher trainer. For ten years David oversaw the cello
program at the Preucil School of Music in Iowa City, IA. He was also a faculty
member at Grinell College. Currently David lives in Guelph, ON, where he teaches
at the Suzuki String School of Guelph and is principle cellist of the Guelph
Symphony.
Doris Harrel

Doris Leland Harrel earned B.S. and M.S. Degrees from the Juilliard School of
Music, and the DMA Degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Harrel has
been a frequent presenter at Suzuki Conferences. She has conducted training
classes and Master Classes in twenty-three States, Chile and Peru.
Mark Mutter

Mark is a registered Teacher Trainer with the Suzuki Association of the
Americas. He received his Bachelor and Master of Violin Performance studying
with Angel Reyes and Camilla Wicks. He is the Executive Director of the Suzuki
Royal Oak -- Institute of Music. He oversees 12 teachers that teach over 150
students. He has been a clinician at workshops and institutes throughout the
U.S. and has led the SRO Tour Group "Camerata" to Disney World, England,
Vienna/Prague, Italy, Greece, Canada, Spain, France, Belgium, The Netherlands
and Germany. Mark and his wife, Susan, have three children, Maria, Paul and
Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Stuen-Walker

Elizabeth Stuen-Walker is a Viola Teacher Trainer. She lives in Bellingham,
Washington, where she teaches viola, violin, plays professionally and directs a
church choir. She received her degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Yale
University School of Music. She taught at the Preucil School of Music and
Cornell College, returning to teach in Washington state in 1984. Ms. Stuen-
Walker has been an active clinician worldwide, taking her Premier Viola Ensemble
to Europe, Asia and Canada. She lectured at an ESTA conference in Sweden, and
taught at the 14th World Suzuki Convention in Italy. She has served on the SAA
Board of Directors, the SAWS, Washington state Board of Directors, and is a
former SAA Journal Viola Column Editor. Her published works include Ensembles
for Viola, Violas in Concert and Treble Clef for Violists.
